Adam Kemball Dein (1889 – 9 May 1969) was an Australian politician. Born in Orange, New South Wales, he was educated at public schools before becoming a goldminer and a farmer. Moving to Sydney he became a teacher. In 1931 he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the member for Lang, representing the United Australia Party. The 1934 redistribution weakened Lang for the UAP, so Dein contested the Senate instead, and was successful. He was defeated in 1940 and he retired, dying in 1969.[1]
